My SWAP painting this fall went to Susie Short. Check out Susie's site for information on her dvds, supplies and workshops.
Susie is a very accomplished artist and started the Yahoo Watercolor group I belong to: "Watercolor Workshop"

SWAP is a Yahoo group online; an acronym for Sharing with Artists Partners.

Kathy,

Thanks so much for your sweet comments on my blog about the Aubrey painting. Isn't she something? It looks like she will be my only natural grandchild so I fear I will spoil her terribly, but she is just so adorable! But, the soon-to-be older step-granddaughters are special too, so maybe that will divert some of this grandma attention I want to rain upon Aubrey!

I do love the way the latest portrait turned out; no stress or re-do's, it just worked this time.

As a child I began designing my own clothes while in 5th grade. Grandma let me use fabric from her stash and showed me how to use the treadle machine. My love for art and the creative began at that point, always having a current project of some kind.
