"Opulence"

Definition of Opulent:  "having great wealth, abundant, lavish - opulence".

Painted from a photo reference by Gladys Ning, thank you Gladys for sharing your lovely photo.

Upon learning what the WORD of God says about the word Opulence, this stood out to me: Yahweh IS deliverance, or is opulence. Another reference to the word led me to this scripture: "And He shall cause them to inherit the land which thou shalt see." Deuteronomy 3:28.

Somewhere

Painted for the Judy Garland room at the Hallett House Bed & Breakfast in Crosby, MN. The familiar song "Somewhere over the rainbow" inspired the name. This painting was delivered in July  of 2017.

About Me

My photo
As a child I began designing my own clothes while in 5th grade. Grandma let me use fabric from her stash and showed me how to use the treadle machine. My love for art and the creative began at that point, always having a current project of some kind. Painting has provided a unique creative outlet for me that I am thankful for, an exciting journey where there's always something new to learn.
