"Hang-Ups"

Painted Around September, 2011

A Watercolor Workshop project to paint our studio or art supplies. This was made up in my mind and I've always enjoyed looking at it and remembering my thought process and how excited I was for the love of painting.

"Her Chair"

A painting of my old Victorian chair, once beautiful, now covered in towels as a bed for Coco, my Cat! I took the photo and painted this in Watercolor sometime right around 9-11. This was painted very early in my watercolor learning, without a border on a beautiful piece of Arches paper!

"Chickadee"

A Watercolor Workshop project from 2014 of a Chickadee! I apparently had not posted this. I found it in my Gallery file on my computer on March 19, 2025. Also in the file are a few more chickadees painted by other WCW members that I enjoyed at the time; including one by Bobbi Price and one by Barb Sailer.

About Me

My photo
As a child I began designing my own clothes while in 5th grade. Grandma let me use fabric from her stash and showed me how to use the treadle machine. My love for art and the creative began at that point, always having a current project of some kind. Painting has provided a unique creative outlet for me that I am thankful for, an exciting journey where there's always something new to learn.
