"A Stitch In Time"


 The photo ref for this was offered on Watercolor Workshop during my membership there. The group no longer exists. I cannot recall who uploaded the image. I am updating my blog with some artwork that was never added. I estimate that this was painted around 2009. The size is 6" x 9" ready for 11" x 14" frame!

I realized I had failed to add this to my blog posts and I think this was done as a study around 2008, during my Watercolor Workshop years!

As a child I began designing my own clothes while in 5th grade. Grandma let me use fabric from her stash and showed me how to use the treadle machine. My love for art and the creative began at that point, always having a current project of some kind. Painting has provided a unique creative outlet for me that I am thankful for, an exciting journey where there's always something new to learn.
