"I Like Dreamin"
Watercolor on Arches 140#CP 11 X 14
I spent Thursday mornings all summer doing a book study of: "The Sacred Romance" by John Eldredge. At the beginning of summer I wrote this in the journal in answer to his question:
"If you could do the very thing you secretly long to do without restriction, what would it be?"
"Well I'd set myself up in a seaside cottage with gentle breezes blowing through big well lighted and positioned windows. With plenty of art supplies and few household or personal things to concern myself with, I'd dream up romantic beautiful scenes like have yet to be painted. I'd take a walk and feel the sand between my toes and occasionally strike up a conversation with someone also inclined. I'd realize I'd forgotten to eat and hurry back to my digs to eat simple fresh food and return to my canvas; music always as my backdrop and the word of God on a continuous wrap day and night." KN
(Thank you Gail Berger for encouraging the dream)

About Me
- Kathy Nesseth Art
- As a child I began designing my own clothes while in 5th grade. Grandma let me use fabric from her stash and showed me how to use the treadle machine. My love for art and the creative began at that point, always having a current project of some kind. Painting has provided a unique creative outlet for me that I am thankful for, an exciting journey where there's always something new to learn.
