I painted this for Watercolor Workshops January "Toy" project, the assignment being to paint something we remember playing with as a child. These look very much like my first art supplies.
The following link will take you to a page that shows how I stretched the paper for this painting.

Promise
My first painting of 2014; this is painted on an Arches 140# CP WC paper wrapped gallery style in a 1" depth. My husband Dennis made the board for me. It's yet to be decided if I will frame it under glass or seal it. My thanks to Paint my Photo for this ref photo taken by: Annette Weiner.
The following link will take you to details on how I painted this on a wrapped WC.

My final WC for 2013; a project assignment from an earlier month, I wanted to be sure to do this one.

About Me
- Kathy Nesseth Art
- As a child I began designing my own clothes while in 5th grade. Grandma let me use fabric from her stash and showed me how to use the treadle machine. My love for art and the creative began at that point, always having a current project of some kind. Painting has provided a unique creative outlet for me that I am thankful for, an exciting journey where there's always something new to learn.
